Stranded for the afternoon at Zurich airport having been up for 9 hours and got less than 500 miles from home. For "operational reasons" our Swiss A340 is unable to depart for Tokyo until 530pm local time. It doesn't always run like clockwork in the land of Milka and Heidi.
The joys of air travel have to contain some pain as well. At least we should all get a good sleep once we get going.
Especially now Alex and I have found "the longest attended lounge bar worldwide" ! A cold, foggy Sunday afternoon in Zurich doesn't seem quite so grey now.
